Review :

Chennai city succumbs to a life-threatening problem which is started by the missing of every mobile phone in the city. It is followed by the brutal killings of a Telecom company owner, a large networked mobile vendor and a minister of Telecom industry. It fears topmost politicians for their life and they get the army to tackle the situation and to find a solution to this problem by restoring mobile networks and mobiles. Even the army fails to destroy the force and only Chitti who was dismantled by a court order for the mass destruction is the hope. Dr Vaseekaran (Rajinikanth) agrees to make Chitti alive again. How Vaseekaran with the help of Chitti and Humanoid Nila (Amy Jackson) destroy that negative force?

Rajinikanth has done a superb job in his different variations and it gives us a lot if high to watch his antics on screen in 3D. Akshay Kumar as Crow Man deserves a special mention. So much effort was put in by the Bollywood Star to make the role look so effective. Amy Jackson as Robot Nila is cute and did her part decently. All other actors performed well to the extent of their given roles. Yet again, Shankar showed why he known as a best technician in the Indian Film Industry. High-Technical Standards we were used to watching in Hollywood has been beautifully presented on the Indian Screen with 2.0. AR Rahman showed his expertise while providing Background Score. Resul Pookutty made the sounding even better with his contribution. Camera Work by Neeraj Shah is mind blowing. 2.0 is a message-oriented sci-fic thriller

Verdict : 2.0 Social Sci-Fic thriller
