Jyotika’s film with Radha Mohan titled Kaattrin Mozhi
Updated on : 20 April 2018

With Jyotika and Radha Mohan coming together after 10 years, for the remake of Tumhari Sulu, the film’s team had announced a contest for fans to guess the title. Fans were given three clues: the title is made up of two words; one of the words is related to both the actress and the director; the other word has something to do with radio. And here is the title — Kaattrin Mozhi.

Says G Dhananjayan, the producer of the film, “We wanted the title to be a reference to Jyotika and Radha Mohan’s previous collaboration, which is a popular film even today. And the song from the film, Kaattrin Mozhi, is an evergreen song. It also is a symbolic way of conveying the film’s setting — a FM radio station. So, this title seemed perfect in every way.”

The film will see Vidaarth playing the role of Jyotika’s husband. Lakshmi Manchu is also part of the cast. Mahesh Muthuswami will handle the camera while National Award winner KL Praveen has been roped in as the editor. The film will go on floors on June 3 in Chennai.
